New Display Project with CNY 28.5 Billion Total Investment Launched in Qinghai, China

At the 2024 New Year meeting held in Qinghai, the Xining New Display Industrial Park project with a total investment of approximately CNY 28.5 billion was officially signed and launched in Dongchuan Industrial Park of Xining Economic and Technological Development Zone (XETDZ).
As explained by the project leader, Xining New Display Industrial Park project focuses on the construction of production lines and ancillary facilities for MLED (Mini/Micro LED) display chips, MLED display modules, ultra-large and ultra-thin electronic materials.
Specifically, of the total investment, CNY 6 billion will be allocated to MLED display chip production, CNY 5 billion will be allocated to MLED display module production, and about CNY 12 billion will be allocated to ultra-large and ultra-thin electronic material production. Upon completion and reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of CNY 21.5 billion.
